Our Lahaina departures take full advantage of these peaceful mornings but our weather typically remains calm throughout the day, thanks to the west Maui mountains that provide a lee for Lahaina, protecting us from east incoming wind and rain.

Our location of Mala, Lahaina has much more consistent weather. If the wing is blowing strongly from the north or south, we will experience the effects, but east incoming weather will be noticed everywhere else on the island but Lahaina.

We do run whale watch tours in light rain and wind because Dec- April is our tropical winter and the weather does not impact whale activity. If the wind or rain are too heavy and will impair seeing the whales, we cancel the tours and refund or reschedule per our guests preference.
