Aloha friends, let's talk story!

All of our tours depart from Lāhainā on Maui’s west coast. Lāhainā sits in the lee of the West Maui mountains, which means more protected, often calmer water and quick access to the Auʻau Channel — the heart of Maui’s whale watching grounds and the crossing toward Lānaʻi for snorkeling. Small groups and a local crew make each tour feel family-style, the way we mean “ohana.” Check-in is currently at our temporary Lāhainā location; your confirmation email will have the latest details.

Check in at the Dive Maui Shop, 1223 Front Street, Lāhainā (next to Snorkel Bob’s blue building), 30 minutes before your departure time. Tours launch from the nearby Mala Boat Ramp, and our crew takes all guests over to the boat after check-in.

• Parking: Park near the Lāhainā Cannery Mall (Safeway shopping center) or on Front Street. Then walk toward the ocean to Front Street, go south over the bridge, and the Dive Maui Shop is on the right before the blue building. Some roads in the area are still closed, so give yourself extra time. There is no longer commercial parking at Mala Boat Ramp.
• Check-in: Dive Maui Shop, 1223 Front Street, Lāhainā. Arrive 30 minutes early to sign waivers and get your boarding pass. Restrooms and water are available, plus hats, sun shirts, and dry bags for purchase.
• Departure: Our crew will take you to Mala Boat Ramp for boarding and departure, which is also where the tour returns.
